A Cloud of Clarity.

"A friend is one before whom I may think aloud." - Ralph Waldo Emerson
Now, I’m just going to tell you guys that my blog is about to become fashion central for a little while. I woke up today with it on my mind and I’ll probably be thinking about it for a while. Don’t worry; I won’t be posting a bunch of pictures of people in frilly-collared jackets and silly-looking pants. Nothing too crazy. I’ll just be posting pictures of things that I like as I work towards adding similar pieces things to my closet.

This is the first.

“Things My Girlfriend and I Have Argued About.”

See if you can spot the difference between these two statements:

(a) “Those trousers make your backside look fat.”

(b) “You’re a repellently obese old hag upon whom I am compelled to heap insults and derision - depressingly far removed from the, ‘stupid, squeaky, pocket-sized English women,’ who make up my vast catalogue of former lovers and to whom I might as well return right now as I hate everything about you.”

Maybe the acoustics were really bad in the dining room, or something.

If you take the opportunity to truly listen to this beautiful woman’s music, you will be sincerely inspired and touched on one of the deepest levels of your soul. For years, I have gone back and forth on listening to her music but, every time I go back, I forget why I ever stopped listening in the first place.

Every day, I am born anew. I am a different creature than I was yesterday and I will never be the same again. I walk in the promises of tomorrow and bask in yesterday’s memories, never truly having been acquainted with the present.
